Welcome to my practice, where I offer traditional Chinese acupuncture in Douglas, Isle of Man. As a dedicated practitioner, I focus on blending ancient wisdom with modern techniques to offer comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s needs.
With accreditation from esteemed bodies such as the British Acupuncture Council and a place on the NHS List of Approved Acupuncturists, I stand committed to providing high-quality, integrated healthcare.
Professional background
My journey into traditional Chinese medicine was sparked by my fascination with plants and food’s potential contributions to health. This curiosity led me to explore solutions in natural medicine. My research into acupuncture, particularly its efficacy in treating chronic pain and neck pain, prompted a significant career change in mid-life.
I’ve combined my acupuncture expertise with Yang Sheng lifestyle advice, emphasising food energy, mind-body harmony, and living in tune with nature. This integration has enabled me to develop personalised holistic well-being treatment plans for each individual.
Furthering my acupuncture knowledge, I underwent specialised training in auricular acupuncture for trauma and addictions, electro-acupuncture, and moxibustion. These skills were instrumental in establishing a holistic acupuncture clinic in London focused on addressing chronic illness and pain. I am also qualified in facial enhancement acupuncture and now continue my practice in Douglas, Isle of Man.
Education and experience
After graduating from City College of Acupuncture (CCA), I interned at the Trauma Acupuncture project for adults and children at the Ukrainian Culture Center in London. Additionally, I am actively involved as a member and practitioner for Acupuncture Without Borders (AWB).
I also interned at The Stress Project. I have worked as the sole full body acupuncturist for a year and I started a free ear acupuncture group for the community.
Drawing on my background in international marketing, where I worked for ten years in London and Helsinki, I developed bespoke stress pilot programs for corporate clients. My educational foundation includes a master’s degree in Finance, Marketing, and Business Administration.
